User Experience
and Product Design
I can help you take your product to the next level from discovery to launch through research, heuristic evaluations, user journey mapping, accessibility studies, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and analysis.
I have a master's degree in UX design and undergraduate degrees in communication and social sciences. I love understanding how and why people think the way they do, which is invaluable in product design success.
Seattle Children's Website Redesign

Seattle Children's is ranked nationally as one of the 10 best pediatric hospitals by the US News and World Report - but visiting its website meant taking a trip back to the 90's and nobody wants to feel like they're going back in time to get cutting-edge treatment.
In 2018, I worked with our content strategist and contract developer to refresh the look and feel of seattlechildrens.org.

The Mountaineers Website Redesign

The Mountaineers site is used to set up and organize outdoor adventures for members of the organization. Still, we wanted it to be more than that - we wanted it to be a resource for outdoor enthusiasts to find trips and trip reports, information on routes, places, and conservation resources. We wanted to reach the broader outdoor community.
In 2013, I worked with a small team to create a new website for The Mountaineers. I was responsible for the content development of site pages, updated user journeys, and the overall rebranding. I conducted and assessed user research, updated the information architecture, and created mockups and specifications for developers.
